What's Ahead in 2022!
2021 was rather like completing a jigsaw puzzle for ministry. Some of the obvious pieces fitted into place with ease, others were more difficult to place. Through the challenges of the last 18 months, and the restrictions placed on travel for our maritime training program, we have repeatedly had to reconfigure our approach in light of the impact of COVID-19 globally. Yet these challenges have also created new opportunities including online and tailor-made training.

Missions Strategy Coaching

Through this time Sherry has been assisting in a program support capacity, whilst also pursuing her Master's Degree in Intercultural Ministry Leadership. She has been laying a foundation, through her studies, that has added a substantial understanding of ministry operations and leadership, built on the familiar sphere that is maritime ministry. This has enabled us to develop MAST Global in a way that we'd also like to make available to others.

The jigsaw puzzle analogy brought clarity in relation to us both using our own skillset to advance the work of training maritime missionaries, with Matthew continuing his technical seamanship training and Sherry through missions strategy coaching. The completion of her degree will occur in 2022 and incorporating this element to our ministry will benefit not only advancing the mission of MAST Global, but also in supporting others currently operating or starting new maritime ministry programs.

Your Partnership Makes a Difference!

Our joint vision remains the same, that every maritime missionary is equipped to serve and mobilized to action.

We are thankful to be supported by our MAST Partners who gave generously towards this vision in 2021. And for the many more who prayed, particularly for our family in the last two months since our son Dominic passed away. As we develop the program further this year, especially with Sherry's new coaching role, we invite you to continue supporting this exciting vision. Some of the ministries we look forward to partnering with this year as shown below.

Our goal is to see every ship ministry equipped to bring spiritual hope and healthcare services to even more isolated communities worldwide in 2022.

Happy New Year!

Matthew & Sherry

Maritime ministry vessels bring spiritual hope and healthcare services to isolated island communities but without a trained crew, these services are severely restricted! Technical crewing is often the greatest need.
